The Story of Ferdinando Cirillo & Bravi Ragazzi

My story began with a passion for pizza, a desire to keep learning, and a dream of bringing an authentic taste of Naples to London — combining tradition, quality and creativity.

I’m Ferdinando Cirillo, founder of Bravi Ragazzi, a Neapolitan pizzeria in South London built around a simple philosophy: great pizza starts with great ingredients, respect for tradition and the passion to constantly push boundaries.

Over the years, this journey has earned Bravi Ragazzi recognition from some of the most respected names in the world of pizza, including 50 Top Pizza and Gambero Rosso, alongside numerous awards and accolades.

In 2026, I reached one of the proudest moments of my career, winning the World Pizza Championship – Caputo Cup 2026, in the Pizza di Stagione category.

For me, this victory represents far more than a trophy. It is the result of years of dedication, creativity, hard work and an unwavering love for the craft.

Today, Bravi Ragazzi continues to grow with the same spirit that inspired it from the very beginning:

Tradition in our roots. Creativity on the plate. Ambition for the future.

Because pizza is not simply what I do.

It is my passion, my journey, and my way of bringing a little piece of Italy to the world.
